Anima’s most popular class, Solo Spotlight, gives singers a unique and exciting master class experience. We have a new format for 2026/2027! The class runs all season, with each session alternating weeks. Each singer will select a song (in collaboration with the Artistic Director) across any genre and workshop their piece in a small group setting. Not only will singers work closely with the Artistic Director and an accompanist to prepare their song, but they will also hone their constructive critique skills as they provide feedback to their fellow singers.

The two sessions of Solo Spotlight will run concurrently throughout the 2026/2027 season. Each session will meet once every two weeks, on alternating Wednesdays from 5:15-6:15 p.m. All singers will participate in the Solo Showcase in the spring.

To ensure individual attention, each session is capped at 10 singers. Sign up early!
