About Us
Anima – Glen Ellyn Children’s Chorus empowers young people to experience the joy of singing together and discover their own potential through personal and collective excellence. Founded in 1964, Anima is an internationally renowned leader in youth choruses in North America and has received numerous accolades and awards for performance excellence. Anima – GECC serves young singers from kindergarten through high school in a variety of ensembles and programs, and Anima choruses are regularly invited to perform with professional organizations such as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Grant Park Music Festival, and the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
