At Anima, we welcome everyone who wants to sing. Now let’s work together to figure out the right fit for you!
Our Voice Placement is an opportunity for our Artistic Director to meet with you, get to know you, and determine where you will find the most success at Anima! Additionally, your Voice Placement provides a unique one-on-one experience with your future conductor - don’t worry, you will have fun!
During your Voice Placement, your conductor will recommend a voice part (soprano, alto, tenor, or bass) for you to sing for the following semester, as well as which ensemble is the best fit. After your Voice Placement, you’ll receive all the information you need about the upcoming season and instructions about how to register.

Just yourself (parents are welcome too!) and a joy of singing. At Anima, your job is to want to sing and ours is to nurture your voice.

No! Part of the Placement Hearing is a light warm up to get your voice ready to sing.

No! Your conductor might ask you to sing “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” or “Happy Birthday.” Depending on your age, you may learn a new song but you do not have to prepare anything in advance!
