A Special Message to Ben Franklin Families!

Thank you, Ben Franklin Bears!

Hi Ben Franklin Families!

I had so much fun making music with your students today at Ben Franklin High Interest Day. We only had 30 minutes to sing, dance, and play games, but I am hopeful your child had a great time!

If this is your first introduction to Anima - Glen Ellyn Children’s Chorus, let me tell you a little about us. This year marks our 60th year serving youth in and around Glen Ellyn, giving them a creative outlet, challenging them to learn new things, and supporting them in a fun, inclusive environment. We believe everyone CAN sing, and we help young people refine their instrument with all the benefits that come from singing together - friendship, confidence, joy, and more!

Treble Chorus is a great place for our upper elementary students (grades 3-5) to start. No prior singing experience is necessary - just a desire to sing and move. We meet twice a week for an hour (two total hours per week), learning age-appropriate vocal techniques, how to read music, sight-singing, how to sing in unison and two parts, and even different languages.

I am particularly passionate about each singer feeling comfortable expressing exactly who they are without concern or worry. Many of our singers tell us their friends at Anima feel like an extension of their family! Our Treble Chorus rehearsals are a ton of fun, enrich what your child learns in music at school, and something your child will look forward to each week. Please explore more about us by perusing our site, or for more specific information about Treble Chorus, please click below.

We can’t wait to have your singer join us in the fall!
