Let’s Get Started!

At Anima, we welcome everyone who wants to sing. Now let’s work together to figure out the right fit for you!

Auditioning provides an opportunity for our Artistic Director to meet with you, get to know you, and determine where you will find the most success at Anima! Additionally, your audition provides a unique one-on-one experience with your future conductor - don’t worry, you will have fun!

Singers do not need to prepare anything in advance. During your audition, your conductor will work with you to complete a series of vocal exercises, sing through familiar songs, and evaluate your current vocal aptitude and skills. The conductor will then recommend a voice part (soprano, alto, tenor, or bass) for you to sing for the following semester, as well as which ensemble is the best fit. After your audition, you will receive all the information you need about the upcoming season and instructions about how to register.
